Hawkstone Memorials Ltd. was founded in 2018 by Vlad and Yaroslava.

Vlad is a third generation European memorial builder. He started making memorials by hand in his family's workshop grandfather and father in Knezha, Bulgaria more than thirty years ago.

 

Yaroslava has a masters degree in fine arts from the University of Varna in Bulgaria and is passionate about art and monument design.

After immigrating to Canada in 2009, they continued to create monuments using established European techniques combined with modern North American technology and eventually started their own company, Hawkstone Memorials Ltd.
